We are a Premier breeder of the Upper Midwest Region and have placed many golden puppies throughout the Midwest states and beyond. We recently moved from Minnesota to the Gulf in Texas. We have been breeding and raising golden retriever puppies since 1989. We first started with the American Golden and then have moved onto the English Golden Retrievers from Europe. Currently our dogs have been imported from Romania, Hungary, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain, and Poland, each with International, National, and World Champions within their linage. Many previous puppies have been donated to Canine Companions for Independence, Minnesota Helping Paws, and Can Do Canine to be Service and Therapy Dogs for others in need.
We have fully enjoyed each and every litter we brought into the world. Within the 33 years of breeding, we had many repeat buyers and numerous visits to our home from previous puppies and their owners. Our door is always open for anyone to stop in. With numerous puppies born over the past years, we have never had any with conditions of hip or elbow dysplasia, epilepsy, cardiac or eye problems, any type of cancer, allergies, ichthyosis, seizures or any other health concerns. All of our dogs have lived beyond 15 years of age, except for one which passed from cancer at the age of 5 and that is when and why we started looking into the golden retrievers from Europe. We just fell in love with their intelligence, their beauty, their temperaments, and their overall great health. We were not aware that a golden retriever could get any better than it was already!
Charlie owns a sign/graphic shop and works from our home. Donna is a retired Registered Nurse, most of my time is being the puppy raiser, trainer, breeder, handler, groomer and I have previously worked at a veterinary hospital. We have two grown sons, many family members and friends, that come to spend time with each and every litter that we have.
